Will my new card have the same card number as my existing card?
No. Your new card will have a different card number.
Can I still use my existing card after it has been upgraded?
For your convenience, your existing card will continue to be active for 90 days following the issuance of your new card or until your new card is activated, whichever is earlier. Please destroy your existing card upon receipt of your new card.
Can I continue to use my existing card after I activate the new card?
No. Your existing card will be automatically cancelled upon the activation of the new card.
Will the reward points on my existing card be transferred to my new card?
Yes, the reward points will be transferred to your new card, with no change to the validity period. The use of the Citi Dollars and the redemption of Citi Rewards are subjected to the Citi ThankYousm Rewards Program terms and conditions which is available at www.citibank.com.sg/thankyou.
Will Citi Alerts for my existing card be automatically established on my new card?
Yes.
Will my existing instalment plan(s) on my existing card be automatically transferred to my new card?
Yes. All outstanding balances, Equal Payment Plans and Balance Transfers (if any) from your existing card will be automatically transferred to your new card.
What is the annual fee if I were to upgrade to the new card?
Annual fees (inclusive of 9% GST) for primary and supplementary cards are S$196.20 and S$98.10 respectively.
What supporting documents are required in order for me to upgrade?
No additional documents are required.
Will my supplementary card(s) be upgraded as well?
Yes. Your supplementary cardholder(s) (if any) need to provide their consent in order for your card & your supplementary card(s) to be upgraded.
If my supplementary cardholder(s) do not agree to the upgrade, can my card still be upgraded?
No. For your card to be upgraded, consent must be jointly provided by yourself and your supplementary cardholder(s).
